I have Windows XP Home Edition and i have four accounts. The internet is
working perfectly for one account and for the other three it says this page
cannot be displayed. i have rogers cable and they said that they cant do
anything because the internet is working and its not there problem.

I have read that some other people have gone through this same problem but
no one answered them how to fix it. If you read this and u think or you know
what is wrong, can yo please reply back and tell me how to fix it /

Thanks,

Michele,

I would guess that the first user has set it up only for
himself. The setting is in the New Connection Wizard and is
named, "Use this account name and password when anyone connects
to the Internet from this computer." My guess is that this
setting was not checked when the connections were created.

I don't know offhand whether and how this setting can be changed
later. If anyone has the info, please chime in.

Short of that, you could recreate new connections and check that
checkbox.

The best solution would be to get a broadband router, remove the Rogers Cable
client software, and enjoy protected broadband internet service for everybody.

Remove the cable client software (whatever that is), then see these websites for
tutorials on connecting thru a router:
