Okay, I have a Dell laptop with Windows Vista. I've tried many of the
suggestions in this group to get the internet time service sychronization.
I've entered the various sites into the Trusted Sites list - still didn't
work. I've added various SNTP sites - still didn't work. I've researched
other programs, but my research indicates they are not required for Windows
XP or Windows Vista. So I am all out of ideas...is there anyone out there
who can solve this problem? Is there some other configuration item I need to
tweak? Is there an additional switch that must be flipped?

Are you running a firewall that could possibly be stopping this from
accessing the internet? What about a router that is blocking it? I just
sync my time with the internet to several sites and I had no issue. Also is
it that the time is going slow? That could be due to a dying CMOS battery.
Could also be because of the time in your BIOS is off as well.

Success! Changed firewall setting based on tutorial and my clock is now in
sync.

Thanks
Tony
