internet signup file is corrupt

Hi,
I'm trying to connect to the internet on my pc and am
getting an error message saying "Internet signup file is
corrupt". Does anyone know how to get past this?

How do you get to the Internet? Dialup or broadband? What is your ISP?
You haven't given us enough information, so I can only guess that you
use some sort of specialized software to log on to your Internet
account and the software is damaged. Or you have a virus or spyware.
Just no way to tell from your post. If you want help, please repost
with a better description of your computer, your Internet connection,
and what you've already done to troubleshoot.
