Internet searching accessability

I have just cleaned my drive from another virus and
everything is working O.K. except for when I go to Search
for something on the Internet. Email is working O.K. from
Yahoo (Exp)MSN Search. It is acting like a high-level
security setting is blocking when attempting to gain
access to search engines on the Internet.
I cannot use any Services (Yahoo, MSN, and Google) Search
Engines. I can go directly to an address via-http. if I
know the address.
