For the past couple of days, I've been experiencing problems with several
users on XP losing their Internet connection. I have to do a Ipconfig
/release-renew and they will re-connect. Does not affect Win2K users.
Nothing has changed on the network other than possibly Windows updates. I am
running a Windows 2003 Server as the pdc. Thought maybe it was a DNS issue,
but it doesn't affect win2k. When I type ipconfig during a disconnect, the
DHCP assigned adress appears correctly and when I renew, it connects to the
same ip address. I tried changing to a static address on a couple of
machines to see if this would help, but I just did that so I don't know yet.
Any ideas on what could have suddenly changed? Thanks
