Internet Log Files

Can the files in the Internet Log folder in the Windows Directory be
deleted? There is a 'tvDebug.log file that's 22,004KB. Also two files with
the file extension .RDB.

Thank you;
David

I know that tvDebug.log can be safely deleted. That is made by Zone Alarm,
a firewall program. However, you must temporarily turn off Zone Alarm,
before you can delete it. Otherwise, you will get a message something like
"file in use". Be sure to turn the firewall back on immediately. You could
also use one of several free programs that delete files locked during
Windows operation during a reboot.

As for other files in that directory, I have been able to delete files older
than a few days without any ill effects.

Hi David,
Yes, you can delete this log file, which created by ZA safely to free HDD
space.
About the RDB, I will make sure what they are first, but you can rename them
to something like:
name.RDB.old and reboot the computer leave them for a couple of days and
see during these two days which application will complain about them missing
like ZA, if not then you can delete them Safely.
You can use this tool:
http://www.ccleaner.com
If you are not sure about the RDB write the name back for us to know what
they are.
HTH.
Let us know.
