I upgraded from Windows NT to Windows 2000 and lost all
access to the internet or my LAN. I must be overlooking
something simple, but can't figure out what it is.

You upgraded what? One computer or a whole domain? You may also use ipconfig /all to
check your tcp/ip settings to see if they look correct. No internet access usually
means wrong default gateway or dns server while no lan access could mean you have an
incorrect network ip or subnet. Try to ping other computers and gateway by name and
ip address. --- Steve

Basic networking. A compatible protocol on all involved systems, and
if it's TCP/IP a proper network addressing scheme involving IP
address, netmask and default gateway.
