Internet homepage changes after reboot

I can select an internet homepage that holds and works
fine until I reboot. It gets changed to some funky
search site I don't want and I am not able to keep it
from changing to the unwanted site after rebooting. Help,
please.

Have you checked for adware/spyware?

SpyBot Search&Destroy
www.safer-networking.org

Download both programs and install them. Get the updates
for the programs and scan your computer.
