Internet Home page

For the last week, I have had problems with keeping my
homepage to the one I select in internet options. I have
set it to google.com and it works once then when I open
IE again I get someother search engine I have not
selected. and the address instead of www.google.com is
about.blank.

I've run anti virus scan using Norton 2004 and downloaded
Ad-Ware 6.0 and scan again. cleaned everything off.
However, I still can not keep my selected home page more
than one occurance.
