Internet Explorer

I know this is Internet Explorer more than windows but was wondering why
when I used to press Ctrl and Enter in the address bar it used to add www
and .com before and after the address but it doesnt any more. Can anyone
help?

Mine adds the www and the .com with the Ctrl+Enter.
However, the newer versions of browsers automatically
default to the www and .com.

Is your question one of curosity, or is this causing you a
problem?

Without knowing which browser version you're using, I
can't be more specific, other than the general suggestion
to reinstall your browser. When did you last scan and
defragment your PC? Are you using a Mac?

Just a tip, you can use the shift+enter combo for www and .net for
autocompletion.

Well its a bit of a nuisance because it used to come in handy its just
stopped working. Vers 6.0 by the way on xp
