Upon booting the computer running Windows XP Home and
connecting to the internet when I bring up Internet
Explorer nothing happens, except hour glass. If I press
Control-Alt-Delete Internet Explorer is listed with the
message "not responding." If I right click and choose "Go
to process" it takes me to explorer.exe and not
iexplorer.exe. If I choose end the process Internet
Explorer disappears along with my tray bar and desktop
icons. If I then choose restart from the task manager
windows begins the shut-down process and during this time
Internet Explorer pops up with my home page momentarily.
When windows restarts a second time Internet Explorer
works fine.
I have tried to reinstall Internet Explorer but get the
message during the install "This software you are
installing has not passed Windows Logo Testing." "This
software will not be installed." HOW CAN THIS OCCUR?
WINDOWS OWN SOFTWARE DOESN'T PASS ITS OWN LOGO TESTING???
