Internet Explorer

I am connected to Verizon DSL. I can use Netscape Navigator to surf the web,
but every time I try to open Microsoft Internet Explorer to surf the web, I
get the cannot find server message or internet explorer could not open the
search page. This error started before I downloaded Netscape Navigator.
Please help.

I must not have updated my browser enough at one point. Soon after I posted
this, I found a fix through someone's website. I forgot to post issue
resolved- my fault. Nevertheless, thanks for the reply.
