Internet Explorer Slow to Load Pls Help

i'm running xp and ie6 , lately Ie has been taking very long to load , all
other 'net apps running fine , eg:email , msn etc. , ran a virus scan and
spyware/adware scan in regular mode and safe mode and cleaned out a few
virus and spyware but still loading very slow.

but if i go into safe mode i can log on very very fast.

i've checked and no proxies have been set in ie.

please can anyone shed some light on this and what i can do about it??

well, this only work with blank startup pages, and IE shortcut

Find your IE icon and right click on it. Select properties and then click on
the Shortcut
tab. In the Target line at the very end, add -nohome to get a speed
boost.
