Internet explorer question

When I minimize a site down to the taskbar and go to another site shouldn't
the minimized site stay on the taskbar? At least I thought it was supposed
to, mine dissappears. Am I just imagining that this isn't working properly?
Been on the computer too long I guess. Anyone thought on this greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Go to IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab...make sure that "reuse
windows for launching shortcuts" is not checked. When this is checked, IE
reuses the same window for the new page. You can access the other page(s)
you were on by using the back or forward arrows.
