internet explorer problems

When surfing the internet with windows xp I receive an error after leaving
the computer idle on a web page for a period of time.
error message:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are
sorry...
Error signature
Modver:2003.1.31.1
Appname: iexplore.exe
Appver: 6.0.2800.1106
Offset:00005861
Modname:ycomp5,1,1,0.dll

Error report includes:
Information regarding condition of internet explorer operating system
version and computer hardware in use your digital product ID which could be
used to identify your license file included in error report..."

I am logged on through DSL connection. No dialup connection. Windows XP,
Compaq PC.

Any help would be appreciated.
