Internet Explorer Problem

when ever I type a url in the address bar(Ex
www.msn.com) it takes me to a search page
(C:\searchpage.html) unless I type the complete url
( Ex http:\\www.msn.com). It did not do this two weeks
ago.Is there some way that i can fix this.I already had
adaware/spyware.
 
Open IE, Click Tools, Internet Options, Advanced.
Scroll down and locate "Do not search from the Address
Bar", check the option and restart IE.
