I recently deleted IE7 Beta from my windows XP computer because it would
not start. I am using Mozilla browser to access internet
I did so be deleting files from windows explorer because I could not
find it in the add/remove faciltiy in Control Panel. I did this because
errors began to cause programmes to force close down
However I cannot reload ie7 because the computer says a removal is
already in progress and wont go through with reloading the programme and
I cannnot reload an earlier version of IE because the computer says that
an a later version of IE has been detected on my computer
Should I bit the bullett and wipe the disk?

Try a System Restore first? FInd a restore point from before and try to go
back to it??

Try asking in the newsgroup especially set up for questions about the IE7
beta:

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Malke

get ready your windows cd because your going to need it:

start - run - type: sfc /scannow - press ok
it will take 15- 30 minuts and if it finds an error it will ask you for you
install cd, otherwise it will just exit when it's done. Reboot

Since you are testing out BETA ware on a non-essential PC then yeah,
wipe the drive. There is no data you need on it anyway.
