Internet Explorer problem - google hijacked!

Hi everyone,
Recently when searching on google I have been getting 13
resuts per page, the results 2,3, and 4 are placed on the
page after loaded...not in the HTML source code.

The results mimic the google-style and refer to sites
such as websearch.com and Free 2020 Search Toolbar. I
guess this is adware but can't get the damn thing off my
system. Ad-Aware (latest version) turns up a blank.

Tried SpyBot but this 'overlay' problem still persists.
Spybot cleared out much more than Ad-Aware did but still
this persists.
I would love to know how IE could be hacked to fake
google results. Netscape, Opera and Mozilla FireFox all
open google normally so I know for sure its an IE-
specific problem...tried reinstalling but didn't work!

Any other ideas?

Forgot to mention that when the PC starts up, using
taskmanager a app called rasautou.exe runs...I know this
is a Windows system file but a popup appears asking to
connect to crl.verisign.com (I think) and when I shut
down rasautou.exe this popup dialog disappears.
