Internet Explorer Pop Ups

I use AOL for the internet, but constantly get internet explorer pop ups appearing. How do I stop these? Hoping someone can help before this drives me nuts!!!

Download the google search bar, it has a built in pop-up stopper, that blocks about 98% of all pop-ups. You can also download Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, running it regularly will remove any spyware that you have acrued. I believe the website is...

For regular Internet pop-ups, you might try the free 12Ghosts
Popup-killer from http://12ghosts.com/ghosts/popup.htm, Pop-Up Stopper
from http://www.panicware.com/, or the Google Toolbar from
http://toolbar.google.com/, which is what I use.
