Internet Explorer /list of objects

Hi,

I noticed in System Info under Internet settings,
Internet Explorer, Cache, in list of objects, two damaged
program file entries.

symsupportutil Damaged https://www-
secure.symantec.com/techsupp/activedata/symsupportutil.CAB

{9F1C11AA-197B-4942-BA54-47A8489BB47F} Damaged
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/CAB/x86/unicode/iuct
l.CAB?37661.6866319444

I am curious to know if this is a simple problem to
remedy, it does not seem to affect the programs
(execution)themselves.

TIA..
David

Hi,
Yes it's safe, recommended in fact, to remove damaged objects. If you
removed an object that a particular website needs, it should be offered to
you on your next visit.
