Internet explorer launch won't go to homepage

I had a problem with internet explorer crashing on launch due to an
error in msxml3.dll. I used the post I found here from Jerry Zhou

It fixed the problem but now when I launch ie, it trys to load the
"runonce" and finishes with errors and never goes onto my homepage
(which is msn.com). Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this new
problem so that ie will continue onto the homepage? At least this is
only a small annoyance.
