internet explorer incountered problem

my internet explorer closes quiet frequenty for no
apparent reason. error report pop-up comes up and i send
the report but it keeps on happening all the tinme. it
is becoming a task just to check and write e-mail. i have
installed a spyware elliminator, thought that my be the
problem, but still not fixed. did everthing in microsoft
help lists..ie, dowmloaded all needed updates for windows
and IE. please help..
