Internet Explorer Error--HELP PLEASE!!!

F

frank

I have Windows 98 and something has been done to my
computer. I am getting errors with Microsoft Internet
Explorer and cannot access it and other things. I am
using my lap top to send this message. On my messed up
computer, I can access MSN Messenger and Outlook Express
and use the find and run tools. But, I can't get into "My
Computer, My Documents, Control Panel, or internet
explorer". When I try to go into Microsoft Internet
Explorer I get this message: Microsoft Internet Explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvience.

When I press "click" for the details I get this
information: Error Signature
AppName: iexplorer.exe, AppVer:6.0.2800.1106,
ModNameA:tps108.dll, ModVer: 0.3.1.9, offset: 000104d6

When I try to acces My Documents (etc.), I receive this
message: The program has performed an illegal operatoin
and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact
the program vendor.

Here are the beginning details:
Explorer has caused an invalid page fault in module
TPS108.DLL at 017f:100104d6.

Registers:
Eax=020200708 CS=017f EIP=100104d6 ETC......

After clicking the don't send report button in order to
exit, there is another pop up that reads this: (with a
yellow exclamation mark) An error has occurred in
internet explorer. internet explorer will now close. If
you continue to experience problems, please restart your
computer.

I have followed any instructions given. I have sent an
error report, and also restarted my computer several
times, but I was unsuccessful in repairing my computer. I
would VERY MUCH APPRICIATE a response. I am DESPERATE for
help!!!! Thank you so much for your time, and I look
forward to a response. I would really love for it to be
sent to (e-mail address removed) (with subject so it isn't
accidentally erased). But if that doesn't work, please
just post it on the site.

or send to (e-mail address removed)
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Windows 98. They all
start microsoft.public.win98.

This group is for questions about Access, the database product.

And, BTW, it's considered to be quite rude to expect a response to be
e-mailed to you. If you post your question to the newsgroup, you come back
to the newsgroup to get the answer.
