the drop down menus? does anyone have any idea why this
is happening, I have uninstalled ie6 and installed it
again. I have copied the setting from my pc in the
office to see if there is any difference on my home pc,
and there is none, please can some one help?

Check your Java Support
Found out what version you have and you should be able to get what you need.

Or,

Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0.
Choose the download appropriate for your operating system.

The problem is likely your Shockwave Flash.
For example, if you inhibit ActiveX controls and plugins
you will get nothing showing there. Right-click there
and you should see Shockwave Flash options.
Try the first one, Zoom In, for example.

Good luck
