Internet Explorer Doesn't Work

I use Windows XP home edition and my internet explorer
stopped working 2 days ago and won't open any website. The
internet connection is good because other browsers work
just fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it fom the
control panel (add/remove windows components), but still
doesn't work. Any ideas on what might be wrong with it?

It could be a winsock problem. Get these tools.
