Hi,
I have very interesting problem with my Dell Latitude D505 laptop (based on
Centrino technology) and Zyxel Omni.Net USB II ISDN modem. When I install
ISDN modem with latest drivers, I can regularly connect to internet and I
can download my e-mail messages with Outlook Express, but Internet Explorer
does not show web pages. I can see message "Web site found, waiting for
display..." on left corner of IE, but after some time, I got error message
"the page cannot be displayed". My laptop has Windows XP with service pack 2
pre-installed. Also, I can ping DNS servers of my ISP, also I can ping, for
example, www.google.com.
I try to reinstall my windows, but if I install windows that came with my
laptop, situation is the same. After that I try to install Windows XP with
service pack 1, and windows without any service packs. With service pack 1,
situation is the same. With windows without any service packs, internet
explorer show me pages regularly! I think that problem is with windows
service packs.
How can I solve this problem, but with windows with service pack 2 that
originally cames with my laptop?
Thanks,
Drazen
