Internet explorer closes

I am running microsoft windows XP, and for some reason my
internet explorer web browser just closes for no apparent
reason. How do I prevent this from happening?

Hi Brian,

Enable Error-Reporting for Internet Explorer.
Click [Start] [Run] [Sysdm.cpl] [Error Reporting] [Enable Error Reporting]
[Choose Program]
Add the application name .exe to the list. (iexplore.exe)

Open IE next time, the error should be displayed.

Also, download ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com and scan the system for
malware browser helper objects.
