I hope someone can help us solve this annoying problem.

Internet Explorer will only open one window at a time, i.e., you cannot have
multiple windows open. For example, after opening one IE window, when you
try to start another IE window, it simply replaces the one that was open.
The Back Icon is greyed out so that you cannot return to the window that was
open. We don't have a clue as to what we did to our computer to make this
happen or how to fix it.

We are running Windows XP which has all of the latest updates and security
patches.

Hi Dan,
Go to the iE Properties and Click on Advanced Tab, scroll dwon to the
Option Browsing:
[ ] Enable Third Party Browser (require restart)
[ ] Reuse Window to launching Shortcuts
Uncheck both of these Square Box and on the Programs Tab click on *Reset Web
