Internet explorer and Outlook Express loading so slowly!

Hi, I know you have certainly addressed this issue before but ever
since downloading IE 6, my computer does not lock on to Outlook
Express easily and I keep getting errors in messaging. Besides my web
pages are now loading painfully slow while I am on the Net. There must
be a simple reason. Oh, I don't use any of those side programs that
came with IE 6, were they needed. Anyway, this is very frustrating, so
please help asap. Thanks so much for your assistance, Psongman
