internet explorer( an open program running)

I'am having problems with an open explorer program,
however there are no open programs listed in my tool
bar. so i don't know which program is running..I was
trying to clean the internet cookies and caches, which i
do reguarly, i've never experienced this problem
before..Everytime i keep getting this error message that
says i've got an internet explorer program running..How
can you close a program if you don't know what program is
running...

Have you checked Task Manager?
