Some links that i try to open will not open and it just
says java script at the bottom of the page. Some links do
open but ones which when you hover over them a web
address is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If a
web address is not displayed at the bottom of the screen
when I hover over the link then it will not open the link.

Please help???!!!

sounds like you are running a pop-up blocker

pop-ups use a javascript command to open a new window
links that use javascript to open a new window use the same command
many pop-up blockers indiscriminately block this javascript command
solution? Possibly a better pop-up blocker
Or, you can disable your pop-up blocker and just deal with the annoying pop-ups.
