add and remove it will only let me repair IE 6 I tried
repairing it and it says could not repair) tried to
uninstall some how and reinstall it and it says I have a

Hi,

1. Insert the Microsoft Windows XP CD or the Operating
System Backup CD into your CD-ROM drive. Once the Windows
XP window opens, please close it and continue with step 2.

2. Click the Start button.

3. Click Run.

4. In the Run dialog box type sfc /scannow then press
Enter key on the keyboard or click the OK button.

5. The Windows File Protection window will appear.
Please do not do any other tasks while this application
runs. The application should automatically replace any
Windows XP system files that are missing or corrupted. If
you are prompted to replace a file, please say Yes to
replace the file.

6. Once the System File Checker application is done
scanning your Windows XP system files, the window should
automatically close. Please restart your computer by
clicking the Start button, Turn Off Computer, then
clicking the Restart button.
