internet explorer 6..

Hi,

i have a question..
I have some problems with my IE6, on some pages (e.g Gmail.com) i get
the message that my browser isn’t compatible.
The strange thing is that i have IE6 so it should be compatible but
anyway.. when i go to microsoft download and try to download ie6 i get
a message that i already have ie6 or higher installed??
I have tried everything to solve this but till now i didn’t got
lucky..
the things i did..
- Full scan for virus/spy/adware
- cleanded my computer (defrag, removed temp/ie/cookies e.g)
- tried to uninstall ie6 (couldn’t uninstall it.. no uninstaller e.g.)
- Cleaned all ie6 registry keys and deleted all ie files but still no
luck

(I have windows xp with SP2)

someone else any idea what to do???

but i have tried all options and still no results...
