Internet Explorer 6 shows low-res graphics

We have a couple of machines on your network that are running XP with IE 6
and all the updates. No matter what resolution we set their video cards to IE
always shows graphics in low-res. They can be running 1280 X 1024 on their
desktops and see hi-res graphics except when they open up IE. Anyone have any
ideas?

Hi Neil :)

Try the following and see if it will help:

First - If you have an accelerator supplied by your ISP try turning it off.
It works by reducing image size (and therefor quality) for downloads.

Try clearing the IE cache. IE.>Tools/Options>General>Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

Blurry & distored images

Go to Tools> Internet Options> "Advanced" tab> then scroll down to
"Multimedia," it should be towards the bottom of the window. There should
be a field that says "Enable Automatic Image Resizing". Be sure this is
Unchecked.

also..

Windows XP does not natively support High-DPI screens

Hope this helps :)
