Internet Explorer 6 and Java(tm)

When ever i try and open some site which is related to
ecards or egreetings i get the following message.
" sorry your browser does not support Java(tm)" due to
which i am unable to view the page properly. kindly help
me and tell me as to how i should solve this problem, so
that i can then view the pages properly.
