internet explorer 6 and adaware

Hi

I have a problem with malware and other stuff. I have
adaware, but everytime i use it, it detects about 140
files, which i get rid of. Then when i start internet
explorer 6, i get the page cannot be displayed for every
web address i try. but if i ping 127.0.0.1 i receive the
4 replies. The msn hotmail chat window is the only thing
that works. Internet explorer will only work again if i
restore the quarantined files. Help!
