internet drops

I have a dell 4100 with windows XP I CONNECT TO MY
iNTERNET provider and my connections connects and then
drops ,inmediatly dials again.Then reconects and
sometimes goes 15 or 45 minutes or before drops again but
I cannot be in the internet for a long time with out
having my compu drops and redial again.
How do I stop the drops and keep on line without having
this problem.Thank you

Call your Telephone company to check the quality of your line which
sounds as if its causing the drop outs.
