Running win2000 server with XP workstations. Some of the workstations are
loseing their internet connection (but still can access network share and
exchange server). When they lose the internet connection, they can only get
to IP's and not the www address. I have found if i reboot the pc, it works.
Rebooting the DHCP service also makes it work.

Any idea whats wrong, starting to get on my nerves. I have same prob with XP
Pro running SP1 or 2...

TIA

What's your DNS setup? Are all PCs pointing to only the network DNS server
(no external DNS servers) and is that server set up to do forwards or
external lookups?

All PC's have autmatically assign DNS.

here is ipconfig if it helps.

Z:\>ipconfig /all
