My internet content advisor says it is turned on and says
the kids can not view websites without a rating without a
password being put in but it does not seem to work. I
have rechecked it all and it says it is turned on. Can
someone help me fix it?!?!?!

Hi Amkasada - If you wish to restore Content Advisor to its original
condition (because of your kids) you can obtain a Microsoft program
(CA-Reset.exe - 89.5K) to do this here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/CA-Reset.exe (listed on line
283) NOTE: Using CA-Reset will completely delete your Approved List -
everything starts like brand new, so consider this before you use it.

Hi Lynn - I don't use CA, so it's difficult to advise you - perhaps someone
else can suggest something. In the meantime, if you used CA-Reset, then you
should be starting off with a brand new program with a new empty approved
sites list. Since you didn't get this, I assume that you didn't get a
correct install. I would try it again, but this time do the install from
SAFE mode or turn off as many other programs as possible, particularly
everything by Norton/Symantec and/or any anti-virus scanners so as to
eliminate possible interference from your other programs. I would then read
the Help carefully and redo all of your setup for CA to make sure you aren't
just overlooking some setting.
