OK I am using Windows XP Home. I have went throught he basics of setting up
the connection.
Here is the setup
charter.net cable connection modem using cat 5 to #1 port on a d-link
DES-1105 5 port switch.
Then 2 computers by cat 5 to the #2, and #3 port on the switch.

I have went to the connection on the one I am going to setup as host/master
of the connection share.
I went to the connection (called local area connection) and right clicked on
it.
I chose properties
I chose advanced
I see no enable connection sharing option.
Without this it is impossible to share the connection or setup the different

Please help you can email me too (e-mail address removed)

If you want to use ICS, the computer providing ICS has to have two
network interfaces: one connected to the cable modem, and the other
connected to the ethernet switch.

The other way of sharing an internet connection is to use a router
such as the D-Link Ethernet Broadband Router (EBR-2310).
