I will admit that I am at a loss here, so please help if
you can. I am continually getting knocked off-line and
receiving the message "your connection has been reset by
the remote host." The only good info I can find on this
topic seems to be related to Windows NT and is supplied
in Knowledge Base Article # 142641. It references "SYN
Flooding" or "SYN Attacks."
Can my problem be fixed by downloading one of the NT
Service Packs, or does something else have to be done for
XP?
If need be, I can play with the registry, but I'm going
to need some rather detailed directions so I don't screw
it up!
This problem is EXTREMELY agravating, and I would greatly
appreciate someone's help. Feel free to email me
directly at (e-mail address removed).
Thanks, Michael
