Internet connection loss every 2 hours

Not sure if this is a setup feature that can be changed
but when I'm online on the internet after every 2 hours
the connection drops and I have to re-connect.
Is there a facility to amend this in Windows or is it
more likely that my ISP is disconnecting from their end ?
Using Explorer 6 with Home XP..

Are you using dial-up internet access?

If so call your ISP and ask what to do about your modemn settings.

Check your ISP user agreement, as this problem is most likely originating
from them.
