Internet Connection Firewall keep out the MSBLAST.exe worm ?

Will just the Internet Connection Firewall keep out the MSBLAST.exe worm ? I
am trying to figure out the best way for my mom to get the latest security
updates, but don't want her to get the worm while she's getting them.
