Is there a shortcut to typing my email address, which
seems to take for ever, espec. when aked for it twice!
The old wood fired amstrad which I had last century had a
marvelous one key memory shortcut. I am sure the xp has
has some method, or do other users have more patience?

For this sort of thing I heartily recommend a useful little shareware
utility - Shortkeys, from
http://www.shortkeys.com, which will allow on the fly text replacement
and expansion, maybe paragraphs long. It operates directly behind the
keyboard - so in any application. There is a free 'lite' version that
allows up to 30 shortkey combinations. So you could use say xme to
expand to your full email.
