Internect explorer takes over and also pops new windows

Hi all,
From last 2 days my IE on XP is takinng control by site
call www.default-homepage-network.com and keeps changing
the sites automatically.It also changes my homepage to
itself automatically
Any idea how to fix it?

first restore all defaults in IE properties. reset
homepage as well. Then look for probably a toolbar that
has been added to your IE and get rid of it by selecting
view-toolbars . it should be in there. uninstall any
application , likely the toolbar you may have added, in
your Add and remove programs in the control panel. Then
you should download an application called ad aware from
Lavasoft. you can get it at www.majorgeeks.com run a scan
and that should fix your problem. let me know if it works
out for you

yes I did that yesterday but the ad aware did not find any
viruses
Also I removed some unwanted downloaded controls under
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files

and also in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects
I deleted some GUIDs which were not on my other good
machine

so now I dont see the problem
