internal vs external floppy drives

Can an external floppy drive go in place of an internal floppy drive? I see
there is an USB cord attached to the external floppy and a big price
increase. I don't know.

well, you are very clear there. you've said yes and no in the same answer.
well that makes it very clear. would someone please answer if you can put an
external floppy instead of a internal. The reason why is there is only a
sliver external floppy drive. There isn't an internal floppy drive that's
silver.

There are plenty of floppy/cd/dvd drive covers that are silver as well as
black or grey/cream

I said "yes" to the fact you could get either one - internal or external.

I then proceeded to point out that Floppy disk drives are not needed - while
you CAN get one and it CAN be either internal or external - you don't need
it.

Explaining again - you asked "Can an external floppy drive go in place of an
internal floppy drive?"
I answered yes - then because you are so worried about spending too much
everywhere else you posted - told you that it is NOT NEEDED - don't waste
your money.

These classes you are taking - this is just for your own good, right?
