internal and external domain names match

I have a problem with a win2k AD server that was configured a while back
with the domain name xxx.co.uk

The company now has a website also called xxx.co.uk (same as the internal AD
server).

The problem is that all of the internal clients cannot resolve to the
xxx.co.uk website and i'm not quite sure how to go about configuring them to
look externally to resolve the correct ip address.
 
Just create a host record for www that points to the external IP address in
your DNS server.
