Intermittent Failed raid volume

I have a Intel P865 Raid board running two Maxtor SATA 7200 rpm drives

I have now three times had a really slow boot.

The boot gets two the Raid page - and says the drive on port 1 is missing
and the raid array has failed

It then tries to boot from CD

When I immediately reset the system it boots at normal speed and then finds
the drive on port 1 - and allows me to restore the raid volume

The system is only 3 weeks old.

Is this a sign of impending drive death. I have opened the case and checked
SATA leads (which wiggle a bit on both drives and board) and power supply.

It has happened again - but this time from the other drive not being picked
up as I boot

All I have to do is reset the system and it works

Not sure why this is happening - any hints greatfully received

Well, how big is your power supply and is it of a decent name-brand?
I suppose a crappy power supply could also be causing such behaviors.

Zalman Quiet 400w

Should vbe big enough for my pretyy standard pc and had good reviews

Checked tha manual already to check the drives didn't have to be on specific
leads
