We have an installation that has several Windows XP spk2 computers. One of
these loses network connection at various times. Virus scans have been done
and one bug was found. All updates and patches have been applied.
Connection can be restored by restarting the computer. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

I've been having problems on my home broadband connection since installing XP
SP2 a week or so ago. The internet connection works fine for a variable
length of time from a few minutes up to a number of hours and then just seems
to die. My ISP says that the DNS Client is not working properly. Manually
stopping and starting the DNS Client doesn't fix the problem. but rebooting
the cable modem does. I don't know if this is related to the problem you've
been having? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Colin,

It would be to everybody's advantage (including yours) if you would ask for help
in a new thread, with a unique and descriptive Subject.
