Interent Explorer 6 not updating web pages

I have Windows 98, IE 6 and Office 2000. In the past few days, my Internet
Explorer is not updating the pages. I have checked the Internet Options and
the setting is checked to look for new versions with every visit, I have run
spyware and deleted cookies.

I am getting very frustrated and can't seem to find a solution. Please help!

What happens if you delete your temp internet files? Does it start working
properly again?
